    GETTING STARTED

    Our experts have made it easy to look sharp for any occasion. Here's an overview of the process.

    Step 1: Choose your style.

    Start by reviewing the looks our professional stylists already have created. You can customize them by choosing accessories, patterns and colors—or build your signature style from scratch. BROWSE TUXEDOS

    Step 2: Create your account and get measured.

    Just enter your name, your email address and a password so you can save rental information and choose between wedding and special event options. For example, the wedding option will help you keep all your groomsmen on track. CREATE AN ACCOUNT

    Your tux or suit should fit you well, so we make it easy to get the necessary measurements. You can have professional measurements taken free of charge at any of our over 800+ Jos. A. Bank or Men’s Wearhouse locations nationwide. Click here to access our STORE LOCATOR.

    Step 3: Place an order.

    Once you've chosen your fit and style, place your order in-store. Then, use our online Group Manager tool to invite members to your group, create looks for your entire party, and pay online for any members you wish to.

    Step 4: Receive and return.

    You may choose to have your rentals delivered via mail to any of the 50 states.* Your look will arrive in time to make any necessary changes before the event. If you ship to your address, it will arrive approximately 4 days before the event. Then, return the tux the day after your event by dropping it off at the mail carrier shipping center indicated on the free-shipping label we provide.

    * Please note that we cannot ship to Puerto Rico.

    We recommend booking weddings at least 4 months in advance so your party members have plenty of time to get measured. For other events, we suggest renting 30 days in advance.

    At a minimum, you'll need to book your rentals at least 3-4 days before an event at one of our stores. You will receive an SMS notification when your rental has arrived in the store. Head over as soon as possible to try on your rental. GET STARTED

    We'll ship to your address in any of the 50 states,* and your rental will arrive approximately 4 days before your event. This will give you plenty of time to try it on and notify CUSTOMER SERVICE of any concerns.

    If you select our store pickup option, the rental will typically arrive 3-4 days prior to the event. Our consultant will have you try on your rental immediately.

    However you choose to receive your rentals, you can be sure that we will work with you to get the perfect fit—guaranteed!

    Log into your account (or create a new one) and visit your RENTAL DASHBOARD in the MyAccount section.

    Here, you'll see the list of wedding events you created. Click an event to view the progress of your group members and send reminders (if needed).

    You can also click on each party member’s name to see more info about their reservations: when and if they’ve been measured, placed their order, received their rentals and returned them.

    Log-in to your account (or create a new one) and visit your Tuxedo Rental Dashboard in the MyAccount section. Click the “LOOK UP AN EVENT” link on the RENTAL DASHBOARD page. From there, you can enter your Group ID or search for your event by last name and event date to claim your event.

    Starting in May 2025, we are joining forces with Men’s Wearhouse to provide 800+ locations for you to:

    • Book your rental(s)
    • Get Fitted wherever is most convenient for you
    • Pick-up at the destination of your choice
    • Drop-off at the destination of your choice

    We carry a wide range of colors for vests and ties—more than 70 colors, with thousands of color combinations.

    It's easy to create your own unique look. Choose from our wide range of FORMALWEAR AND ACCESSORIES for your favorite color, pattern and style.

    We do! We carry nearly every style in sizes 3-18.

    FITTINGS & MEASUREMENTS

    You can have professional measurements taken free of charge at any of our over 180 locations nationwide. Click here to access our STORE LOCATOR.

    We carry both men's and boys' sizes.

    Men's sizes:

    Coats: We carry a wide range of coat sizes, starting at 34 short and going all the way up to 70 long. We also carry extra-long coats up to size 60. Sizes may vary by style.

    Pants: All of our pants have adjustable waistbands that adjust up to 3 inches. The length will be determined by your outseam (your waist to sole of shoe) measurement. Sizes may vary by style.

    Shirts: Our rental shirts come in different neck and sleeve sizes to ensure the best fit for you. Available neck sizes range from 14 to 24. We carry sleeve lengths as short as 32 and as long as 39.

    Vests: Most vest styles are available in sizes XS to 2XL. Selected styles are available up to 4XL. For larger sizes, we have a backless bib vest that attaches with adjustable straps at the neck and back.

    Boys' sizes:

    We offer a wide range to accommodate almost all ages and sizes.

    CHOOSE LOOKS from sizes 3 to 18.

    “Fit” is another name for a suit's cut—how snug or roomy it is. Style wise, there's no “wrong” fit; your choice depends on what fits your body type and what makes you feel comfortable and confident.

    A “Classic-fit” coat has a more generous cut throughout the chest and waist and features standard armholes and fuller sleeves. Classic-fit pants have extra room at the waistline, hip, seat and leg.

    A “Modern-fit” coat provides a slightly more “fashion-forward” cut. In between the Classic and Slim fit, it has a slightly smaller waist than Classic fit. Modern-fit pants are flat-front and are a comfortable fit between Classic and Slim.

    A “Slim fit” coat is more fitted through the waist and features a higher cut armhole and a slimmer sleeve, without fitting tight. Slim-fit pants are narrower through the hip and thigh and offer a more tapered leg.

    In addition to these fits, we also offer a Skinny fit pant for customers who want the narrowest fit through the thigh and leg. Skinny fit is only available in select styles/sizes.

    If you have a lean body and/or prefer your clothes to be more fitted, we recommend choosing Slim fit.

    If you prefer a more traditional style or want a little more room, you usually can't go wrong with Modern fit.

    You can place your order in-store up to 14 days in advance for wedding party members, or 7 days in advance for individual special events, without incurring a rush fee.

    * Please note that for wedding parties, to make sure you get the style you want, we strongly encourage you to get measured and place your order within 30 days of booking your wedding. Please see TERMS & CONDITIONS for more information about fees.

    SHIPPING OR PICKUP

    Want your order delivered to a residence, hotel or other venue?

    We can ship to a residence or venue as long as it's in the U.S*., including Alaska and Hawaii.

    *Please note we cannot ship to a P.O. Box, Puerto Rico or internationally.

    Want to pick up your order in-store?

    You can choose to pick it up at any one of our 800+ Jos. A. Bank or Men’s Wearhouse locations nationwide. It doesn't have to be the same location where you ordered it—just let us know where you would like to pick up when placing your order.

    Yes, you can contact CUSTOMER SERVICE or visit one of our stores to change the address. Make sure to do this at least 15 days prior to your event, or the items may already have shipped.

    Our specialized packaging is designed so you receive your garment in ready-to-wear condition. However, you can also take your tux or suit to any Jos. A. Bank or Men’s Wearhouse location to have pressed for FREE.

    RETURN OR DROP OFF

    If you picked up at a store, please plan to return your rental order the day after your event at any of our Jos. A. Bank or Men’s Wearhouse stores.

    If we shipped your rental order to your home, be sure to drop it off the first business day after your event at the mailing location indicated on the free shipping label we provide. If you prefer, you can drop it off at any Jos. A. Bank or Men’s Wearhouse location the day after your event. 

    You will be charged the replacement cost for the missing items. For more information, please see our TERMS & CONDITIONS.

    A $20 late fee will be charged for each day the rental is not returned after the return date.

    If you return your rental package but there are one or more items missing, you will be charged the replacement cost of the item(s). For replacement costs, please see our TERMS & CONDITIONS.

    No, you may return your tuxedo to any Jos. A Bank or Men’s Wearhouse store most convenient to you. To locate a store, CLICK HERE.

    Return your item in the box along with your original order or drop it off at your local Jos. A. Bank or Men’s Wearhouse location.

    The original box will hold two full rentals if they are packed without the “capsule,” the cardboard tube we include to prevent wrinkling. If you're having trouble fitting the rentals in the original box, leave out the capsules.

    ORDER CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

    Yes, you may make changes to your order by contacting CUSTOMER SERVICE or by visiting a store. Note that Style Change Order fees may apply. For more information, see our TERMS & CONDITIONS.

    To cancel your reservation, contact CUSTOMER SERVICE or by visit a store. Cancellation fees may apply. For more information, see our TERMS & CONDITIONS.

    You can cancel your wedding group by contacting CUSTOMER SERVICE or by visiting a store. Cancellation fees may apply. For more information, see our TERMS & CONDITIONS.

    PAYMENT AND BILLING

    The full balance of your rental is due when committing your rental in store. If any changes are made to your rental that change the price (such as adding additional items) any remaining balance would be due at the time of pick-up.

    Yes, if there is any remaining balance to be paid on your rental, it can be paid online HERE.

    Yes, the Late fee is $20 per day. Please see our TERMS & CONDITIONS for more information.

    Minor damages are covered by the nonrefundable Damage and Handling fee. However, if we determine that a rental is damaged beyond repair you will be charged the full replacement cost of the item(s).

    WEDDING GROUP MANAGEMENT

    It's easy to create your wedding group in-store or online. To create your group in-store, please MAKE AN APPOINTMENT with one of our expert consultants.

    To create your group online, follow these steps:

    Step 1: Visit the FIND YOUR STYLE page.

    On the Find Your Style page, browse styles and put together the perfect look for your wedding. Once you find the look you love, select Choose This Look.

    Step 2: Sign in or create your account.

    On the Confirmation page, click Continue to go to the account sign in page, then create an account or sign in to your existing account to reserve a look.

    Step 3: Create your event.

    Once you are signed in, select + New Event. Proceed from there to finish creating your wedding group.

    If your event is less than 15 days away, visit one of our stores. (Rush fees may apply.)

    Yes, follow these steps:

    Step 1: Log into your account.

    Log into your account (or create a new one).

    Step 2: Go to your rental dashboard.

    Visit your TUXEDO RENTAL DASHBOARD in the My Account section.

    Step 3: Look up your event.

    Under EVENTS, click the LOOK UP AN EVENT link. From there, you can enter your Group ID or search for your event by last name and event date to claim your event.

    Once you have claimed your event, you can view the progress of your group members and send reminders if needed or add new group members that you may have missed.

    Currently, you cannot modify your wedding event online if it was created in-store. You can make changes by going into your local Jos. A. Bank store or by contacting CUSTOMER SERVICE.

    Sure, you can make changes to your wedding group members up to 14 days prior to your event date without any fees. Any style changes made less than 14 days before the event will be subject to a Style Change Order fee ($20 per order). Please see our TERMS & CONDITIONS for more information.

    If you created your group online, you can make changes to your group using the Group Manager, as long as the orders have not already been committed (this means you have checked out online and submitted measurements and sizes).

    If you booked your group in-store or if the orders have already been committed, you will need to go into a store to make changes or CONTACT US.

    When you register your wedding party, we will assign a group number to the wedding party and assign a reservation number to each member of the party who will be renting a tuxedo. Any member of the wedding party can then go into any Jos. A Bank or Men’s Wearhouse store across the country and provide the employees on duty with the group number. We'll take care of the rest.

    At the time of their initial fitting, members will be asked to indicate the store where they'd like their tuxes to be delivered, unless you have predetermined where all tuxes should be picked up. If you haven't already determined a pickup location, please let your groomsmen know that they should choose the location that's most convenient for them to visit two days before the wedding.

    If you have out-of-town members where there is no Jos. A Bank or Men’s Wearhouse store, you will need to specify the location for pick up (perhaps near your home or the wedding venue) and communicate it to them, letting them know that they will need to come in and try on their tuxedo two days prior to the event.

    Use the Group Manager on our website. If you created an event online, all you need to do is go to your RENTAL DASHBOARD and select your event. This will take you to the Group Manager where you can see the status of every member in your party.

    If you booked in-store, follow these steps:

    Step 1: Go to your RENTAL DASHBOARD.

    You will need to sign in or create an account if you don't have one yet.

    Step 2: Look up your event.

    Once at your Rental Dashboard, you will need to link your event by selecting LOOK UP A WEDDING, under EVENTS.

    Step 3: Claim your event.

    Enter your Group ID or search for your event by last name and event date to claim your event. This will add your event to the Group Manager where you can see the status of every member in your party.

    Yes, for existing in-store reservations, refer to MAKE A PAYMENT.

    Reservation numbers are assigned to each individual's order, while the group number is used to keep track of the entire group.

    With 6 fully paid rental packages (which include at a minimum coat, pants, shirt, tie, and jewelry) for your group, get $250 towards a rental, purchase, or custom look. Coupon will be emailed 14 days before event, will expire 30 days after event, and is non-transferrable. See coupon for additional terms.

    $250 Credit Coupon: Void if 6 Paid requirements are unmet. Coupon can be used towards $250 off either your rental, retail, or custom purchase. Coupons applied to a rental transaction exclude any rush fees, late fees, or lost item replacement costs. Coupons applied to a retail purchase exclude clearance items, shoes, alterations, and gift cards. No cash value. Coupon is one time use only and non-transferrable. Must be used in a single new purchase; any unused portion will be forfeited. Customers returning items purchased with this coupon will forfeit the portion of the discount used for those items; the Jos A. Bank return policy will apply to the remainder of the purchase.     FORMALWEAR ETIQUETTE

    Anyone you want in your wedding photos should be dressed to the nines—including you, your party members, immediate family and ushers. And what about the officiant, entertainers, photographers and videographers? It's up to you—but in our humble opinion, there's not such a thing as looking too good.

    That's up to you and your date—within reason. Coordinating with your dates is terrific, but you can also opt for the timeless black and white look. Let your personal style shine through!

    The customary season for white is Memorial Day through Labor Day, and a traditionalist would tell you to wear it only during the day. They might even change into a black tuxedo coat around 5:00 or 6:00 PM. But these are modern times, and now it's generally acceptable to wear a white jacket throughout your event.

    If your attendants are wearing white jackets, transport the jackets in garment bags—and consider taking the wedding photos before the ceremony. White jackets attract everything that isn't white: makeup, punch, food—you get the idea.

    That's up to you, but we have a few observations. Formal vests are much more popular than cummerbunds right now, and they have a more 'finished' look than cummerbunds. When the jacket is removed during the reception, a vest keeps party members looking polished.

    Tailcoats, or 'tails,' are the most formal of all formal attire. They are only worn for evening events. They usually require a white pique shirt, a white pique vest and a matching bow tie. Invitations that call for this look may read 'Black Tie No Option' or 'White Tie.'

    This is a slightly more forceful request than 'Black Tie Optional.' It means you should wear formal attire (a tuxedo and accessories) if possible.

    That's up to you. Many want a personalized look so they can stand out from the pack. If subtlety is your goal, try differentiating your look with unique accessories (vest, tie, pocket square, jewelry and socks).
